The most remarkable feature of this historical moment on Earth is not that we are on the way to destroying the world we've actually been on the way for quite a while. It is that we are beginning to wake up, as from a millennia-long sleep, to a whole new relationship to our world, to ourselves and each other.

For peace, justice, and life on Earth, fresh ways of seeing arise, and ancient ways return. This web site opens doors to the new bodies of thought, time-tested spiritual practices, and pioneering group methods, that I find to be powerful inspirations to understanding and action. I share these resources in service to the revolution of our time: the "Great Turning" from the industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilization.

In these pages you'll find key aspects of my work:

Take part in the healing of our world!

After more than 70 years since Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the United Nations General Assembly has adopted, with overwhelming support, a landmark resolution to begin negotiations on a treaty prohibiting nuclear weapons. This historic decision heralds an end to two decades of paralysis in multilateral nuclear disarmament efforts. And this summer, the majority of the world’s governments will negotiate a ban on nuclear weapons at the UN, throughout June and July.

To celebrate and support the coming #nuclearban, on June 17, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, and its partners will mobilize tens of thousands to come out to streets and join the Women's March to Ban The Bomb.

The Women's March Ban the Bomb is a women-led initiative building on the momentum of movements at the forefront of the #resistance, including the Women’s March on Washington. It will bring together people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, ethnicities, abilities and backgrounds to march and rally on Saturday, June 17th 2017 in New York City and around the world in support of negotiations taking place at the United Nations for a treaty banning nuclear weapons.

Volunteers are needed to help coordinate the march, assist in outreach and media, and sponsor with people-power, material resources and financial support. The aspiration is to create community and networking opportunities and work together to achieve de-escalation of the military, inform the public of the continued threat of nuclear weapons, and support these historic negotiations that welcome a new age for nuclear disarmament.

As Hiroshima survivor Setsuko Thurlow has said,

“We hibakusha have no doubt that this treaty can—and will—change the world.”

Support the change you want to see, be a part of history! Join us on June 17th in a march to ban the bomb!
